A Sad Day in the Ferretchick Household!

Tank and Peach have always lived the good life. This means lots of treats, comfy beds, and most of all… no cage. Having two free roaming ferrets means always double checking when opening the door, sitting down, and starting the washing machine or dishwasher. All of that freedom may be coming to an end. Last week Tank was running around the kitchen when he got stepped on. A visit to the vet and a few x-rays later we realized his leg had been broken in three places. The little guy was given some pain meds and sentenced to 6 weeks in a teeny-tiny cage.
Having Tank in a cage has taken so much worry off of us that we may end up getting a big cage for both of the ferrets.
