Take your fuzzy outside and enjoy it. Make sure you bring a harness though. Digger looks like he enjoys the great outdoors!
Fact: Ferrets are obligate carnivores. A healthy ferret diet is high in protein and fat, and low in fiber. Think about that the next time you give your ferret a handful of cereal or raisins.

The name ferret is derived from the Latin furittus, meaning “little thief”

Nanuk sure looks comfy! I bet her owner Ashley isn’t as flexible.
She reminds me of the camo ferret!
Fact: It is illegal to own ferrets in the states of California and Hawaii as well as in Washington, DC, New York City, and Puerto Rico.
Most laws about ferrets are based on misinformation. Some arguments are
* “Ferrets are wild animals.” -Actually, ferrets have been domesticated for thousands of years.
* “There is no rabies shot for ferrets.” -In fact, IMRAB-3 has been approved for ferrets since 1991, and no human has ever contracted rabies from a ferret.
* “Ferrets are dangerous, vicious biters.” -According to the CDC, a ferret is thousands of times less likely to bite than a dog is.
* “A feral ferret population could destroy the environment.” -In reality, there are no feral domestic ferret populations in North America.
Looks like these lawmakers need to get their facts straight.(caged ferret)

I love how this little guy blends in with his bubble bath!
